One Long Video, a Week of Content: A Repurposing Playbook

The creators who win short-form are rarely the ones with the best single clip. They are the ones who post good clips every single day — because feed algorithms reward presence, and audiences build habits around accounts that reliably show up.

The sustainable way to post daily is not creating daily. It is recording long once, then repurposing systematically. Here is the playbook.

Record once, with clipping in mind

You do not need to change your format — just tighten a few habits that make footage clip better. Restate the question inside your answers so clips are self-contained. Let strong opinions be strong instead of hedging them into mush. Tell stories with clean beginnings. A 45–60 minute conversation recorded this way reliably contains a week of clips.

Process the same day

Repurposing systems die in the gap between recording and clipping. Close the gap to zero: upload the recording to TeraClip as soon as it exists. Minutes later you have up to ten vertical, captioned clips ranked by Clip Potential score — the raw material for the whole week, produced while you were doing something else.

Schedule by score

A simple weekly cadence that works:

  • Day 1: your highest-scoring clip — the best shot at reach
  • Days 2–5: the next tier, one per day, steady cadence
  • Weekend: a personality-driven or story clip — completion runs high on lighter content
  • Always: delete nothing yet; a mid-scoring clip can be re-cut or re-hooked later

Review, then let the winners compound

Once a week, look at which clips outperformed and why — topic, hook style, guest, length. Feed that back into what you record and which clips you pick when your taste disagrees with the score. Over a few cycles you build something most creators never get: an evidence-based picture of what your audience actually wants more of.

One upload, ten ranked clips, a week of presence — repeated every week. That is the entire system. TeraClip's $5 Starter Plus plan covers a weekly hour-long episode; start with the free plan and run one real week through it.
