How does it work?
Upload a video and TeraClip transcribes it, scores every segment for viral potential, and picks the strongest moments. Each pick is captioned and cropped to 9:16 automatically, ready to download and post.
What formats can I upload?
MP4, MOV, or WebM files up to 15 GB, depending on your plan. If your browser can play it, TeraClip can usually process it.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — Starter Free is free forever with 30 credits every month, no credit card required. Free credits reset monthly and don't roll over. Free exports are Economy 720p quality and carry a small watermark.
How do credits work?
1 credit processes 1 minute of source video at HD quality, rounded up — and Economy 720p exports cost less. Unused credits roll over on paid plans, capped at 2x your monthly amount; the free plan's credits reset each month and don't roll over.
How many clips do I get per upload?
Between 1 and 10 clips per upload, depending on your plan — Starter Free gets 1 clip per upload, while Max Plus gets up to 10.
What if processing fails or gets stuck?
If a job fails, its held credits are refunded to your balance automatically. If a job seems stuck, you can request cancellation yourself from its project page — if it hasn't finished within 10 minutes, it auto-cancels and refunds in full.
Can I edit clips after they're generated?
On paid plans, yes. Edit the caption text, switch the caption style or position, and re-render the clip as many times as you need. Caption editing is not available on the free plan.
